PINTEREST BRANDING & VISUAL IDENTITY

Pinterest is a visual discovery platform organized around collecting, saving, and categorizing ideas. I collaborated with Mike Deal to develop a complete identity system that clarified the brand’s core action and visual logic.

At the center of the system is a custom logotype that transforms the letter “P” into a map pin, directly encoding the act of pinning into the brand mark itself. The identity balances simplicity and memorability, translating user behavior into a coherent visual language that scales across product, platform, and culture.
